With an impressive number of tiles exceeding 2048, the game truly goes beyond expectations. The "+" symbol signifies that it's not limited to just a 4x4 grid - it offers more options for an even greater challenge. Additionally, the "#" symbol represents more than just one new tile; players can expect a multitude of new tiles to enhance their gameplay. This game can rightly be referred to as 2048+.
Not only does the game offer hours of entertainment, but it also provides seamless data storage through iCloud. Players can effortlessly sync their progress with their iPad, iPhone, and even Apple TV. Furthermore, there is even a version compatible with Apple Watch.
The game boasts an astonishing high score of over 15 billion points, achieved by a dedicated long-time player. It is clear that the potential for reaching even higher scores is immense.
However, there are a few limitations to be aware of. iCloud storage only allows for a single record, and the game itself only enables users to undo up to ten steps. The number of new tiles introduced varies depending on the grid size: for a 4x4 grid, there is one new tile; for a 6x6 grid, two new tiles; for an 8x8 grid and a 10x10 grid, three new tiles are added; and for a 12x12 grid, there are three tiles added as well.
